44. Take a cake decorating class.

Finally time to scratch off another task on my list! I finally was motivated to sign up for a cake decorating class at my local Michael's store. It's only once a week for 4 weeks, so i thought - what the hey, that isn't too bad! The first class was actually dreadful - it was just the instructor talking the entire 2 hours! Felt like i was back in school trying not to fall asleep during a lecture. Needless to say, i'm surprised i came back (my friend, no names mentioned, didn't...haha). But i came back for the second class and this time it was hands on. Cake decorating is actually pretty fun and i was pretty damn good at it! haha. We learned the basics - icing, stars,dots, spirals, shells, ribbons, basic flowers, roses, and writing. We just finished the class this past week and i've already decided to take the next course next month. my ultimate goal is to try to work with fondant but that's in course 3.
